This beautiful scarf was eco-dyed with peony leaves, apple leaves and ferns. The delicate colors of the tannins from the plants are permanently a part of the fiber after applying a iron mordant and steaming for several hours. Depending on the plant and the time of year and the mordant you choose to use will give you different colors. The detail is amazing!
