This paj scarf was eco-dyes using a variety of plant material I found right outside my studio! I used coral bell leaves and flowers, rose leaves , cranes bill geranium flowers and asparagus fronds! The results are very pleasing to the eye. Using an iron mordant to affix the tannin from the plants onto the silk produced beautiful colors. Mostly a dark pallet but with hints of green and rust. The asparagus fronds created delicate light green accents throughout. The scarf measures 7" wide by 52" long.
